At A Runner’s Mind, we value every guest who walks into our doors equally, and we want to run and walk with everyone who wants to come along with us, regardless of skin color, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, or physical ability.

But, it’s become clear that in our country, too many members of our community are not able to get out on the roads and trails with us in the same way as others. We’ve seen that most clearly and painfully in the murder of Ahmaud Arbery.

If we really want to live in a world where everyone can move together, we know we can no longer be silent or inactive. At A Runner’s Mind, Black Lives Matter.  At A Runner’s Mind, we support the Pride movement of the LGBTQ+ community.

We are in an ongoing and enduring process of reevaluating our own processes and role in the community, finding ways to learn about racial justice, making our stores and our team more diverse and inclusive, and taking action to further the cause of justice in our communities and nationwide.

We also know that this work is just as important in the present as it will be this time next year, and for many years to come. We’re going to be part of this movement for the long haul, because

Movement is Life, and movement means so much more than walking and running.
